Part IV: All About Them!
Welcome to the Last Section of your Blueprint to Love Work Guide!
Why does it say All About 'THEM' and not 'him'? I'm so glad you asked!
I'm not saying you can't walk outside and find a dude at the end of your driveway, hang out, hit it off, find common romantic interest, and live happily-ever-after. (I mean, it happened to me once! Minus the happily-ever-after part!) But, you will probably have to get really great at meeting a lot of different men to find the one who's perfectly imperfect for you. Which is why this is all about men.. i.e. 'them.'
If there was someone in your life previously, and they had nearly everything you wanted, take away the person's name and write down those characteristics. Stay true to the idea of them and what they embodied, meanwhile be true to you that there is someone else coming who can fill those roles and give you even more.
If you pray for adventure, you will get it. However, adventure doesn't always mean happily-ever-after. Know the difference between adventure & a love story. Being open to both is best course of action because adventure can (and does) lead to romance. It's not mutually exclusive.
As your working through this last section, be true to what you're looking for and what you want. Take to heart you may say you want one thing however, there's a why behind it. Exploring that why may help you identify what you REALLY want versus the illusion of love your imagination has painted. For example, perhaps you want a doctor, but what you really want is someone who is caring, intelligent, known in the community and committed to helping others. There are lots of professions with those qualities. A politician... or your cable guy.. lol.. Do your best to identify qualities you're looking for rather than titles or stereotypes. Watch how this works magic in your life!
